Learn all about turtles and the challenges they face here on Long Island.Turtles are a vital part of any ecosystem, but there are many obstacles to their survival as a species. Don Lanham of Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons will educate us on how to increase their chances of survival, both locally and worldwide. He will also speak about the rehabilitation efforts of Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons, and how to utilize their services when you find a turtle in distress. We will be educated on native turtle species, and even meet some local turtles!
